Abstract
This Code applies to — (a) each licensee that provides a water supply service, but only in respect of the supply of — (i) potable water; or (ii) water that is not potable but is able to be treated by the customer to make it fit for humans to drink; and (b) each licensee that provides a sewerage service. Part 2 regulates connection of water services to land; information about connections and minimum performance standards for standard supply connection. Part 3 regulates billing for water services and Part 4 payments. Part 5 water supply restriction r because of an unpaid water service charge. Part 6 disciplines faults, emergencies and interruptions affecting water services. Part 7 procedures for dealing with complaints about water services. Part 8 concerns services and information to be provided without information to be widely available. Part 9 regulates requirements for supply of water to persons with special requirements or needs.
