Part 5 (Exemptions) provides exemptions from offences under the Act for specific persons and circumstances, including veterinary practitioners, meat industry workers, wildlife events, and possession of certain wildlife products. It also outlines conditions under which exemptions apply and the approval process for sources not bred in captivity. Part 6 (Miscellaneous) prescribes poisons, designated public lands (e.g., Phillip Island Nature Park), and the publication of approved forms. Schedules 1 to 7 enumerate applicable fees and the taxa of wildlife subject to various licence types or exemptions.
