Abstract
This Law regulates relations arising in the field of production, storage, transmission, transportation, distribution, sale and consumption of energy and applies to the institutions, individuals and legal entities operating in this field, including end consumers. It lays down provisions on the state policy and programs in the field of efficient use of energy resources and energy efficiency; energy audit, energy management systems and energy administrator; organization and promotion of energy efficiency services; calculation of consumed energy and informing consumers; efficiency in production, storage, transmission, transportation, distribution and supply of energy; the establishment and functions of energy efficiency fund; and scientific and technical support, international cooperation and state control in the field of efficient use of energy resources and energy efficiency.
