Presidential Decree No. 562 on additional actions for the implementation of the Law of Republic of Azerbaijan No. 825 on veterinary medicine.

The President decrees as follows: (a) regional (city) executive authorities shall implement the authorities of “relevant executive body” envisaged in the Article 15.3.2. of the Law of Republic of Azerbaijan No. 825 on veterinary medicine by coordinating with the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Interior and State Land and Mapping Committee within their jurisdictions; (b) the authorities of “relevant executive body” envisaged in the Article 24.7 of that Law shall be implemented in the first case by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Emergency, Ministry of Health and State Veterinary Service at the Ministry of Agriculture, in the second case – by regional executive authorities; (c) authorities of “relevant executive authority” envisaged in the Article 36.1.of that law shall be implemented by the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences; and (d) authorities of “relevant executive authority” envisaged in the Article 38 of that law shall be implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
