Abstract
This Resolution shall be applicable to foodstuffs non-complying with standards and requirements, expired foodstuffs subject to compulsory withdrawal, neutralization or destruction after relevant inspection and examination of the aforesaid foodstuffs. Public control authorities shall carry out inspection and examination of foodstuffs in the following cases: (a) at request of public authorities, legal and natural persons; (b) risk of food poisoning or infection among the population; (c) by results of supervision by public authorities. Inspection and examination shall establish: (a) suitability of foodstuffs for human consumption; (b) conditional suitability (if foodstuffs unfit for human consumption can be re-processed at food processing enterprises); (c) unsuitability for human consumption and subject to destruction or for use as animal feedstuffs.
