Abstract
This Decision sets related procedural issues regarding the approving of pre-export inspections of almonds carried out by the United States of America prior to export as in relation to the possible presence of aflatoxins. This Decision transposes the provisions of: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/949 of 19 June 2015 on the approval of pre-export inspections of certain foods carried out by certain third countries for the presence of certain mycotoxins; Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1269 of 13 September 2017 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/949 as regards the removal of peanuts originating in the United States of America from the list of approved pre-export inspections for aflatoxins. The reference to the legal acts of the European Union is made solely for the purpose of monitoring and informing about the transposition of the EU acquis into the legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Pre-export inspection parameters when carrying analysis by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as the competent authority prior to export to the EU for aflatoxins in almonds is listed in Annex of this text (including samples of technical sheets and forms that are designated).
