Abstract
This Instruction regulates the manner of adoption and implementation of the Residue Monitoring and Control Plan for 2022. Residue control aims to protect the health of consumers and ensure the conditions for unhindered trade in animals and products of animal origin. All substances that are examined as part of the Plan are divided into two basic groups: a) group A - prohibited substances for which residue control is carried out for the purpose of detecting illegal administration of prohibited substances or misuse of approved substances; b) group B - approved substances for use for which residue control is carried out for the purpose of checking compliance with the maximum permitted quantities of residues of veterinary drugs and contaminants in accordance with current regulations. The plan includes monitoring and control of residues of monitored substances in samples of tissues and body fluids of the following types of animals and products of animal origin: a) cattle; b) sheep: c) pigs; d) poultry (broilers); e) fish; f) cow's milk; g) sheep's or goat's milk; h) chicken eggs; i) honey.
