Abstract
This Law defines: production, transport, testing and inspection of medicines for use in veterinary medicine (veterinary drugs) in order to protect the animal health, especially in terms of quality, effects and safety (on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The provisions of this Law also apply to veterinary medical devices.
Medicines are in terms of this Law are substances or mixture of substances, and other products to be used on specific animals in specified amounts (concentrations) and, under certain technical conditions/terms that are also used for a correct diagnosis, prevention, alleviation and treatment of diseases and disease symptoms, or aimed to allow the performance of a painful or other interventions on the animal (animal welfare).
The Law is divided into XI Chapters and 65 articles, including the offences and related penalties.
