Abstract
This Special surveillance programme, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of management of those measures, entities that will implement them, sources and the manner of providing and using of funds, and the manner of control over the implementation of special presence control measures as regards the presence of quarantine harmful organism Alternaria mali Roberts - the cause of alternaria apple spot on the territory of Republika Srpska in 2020. The aim of this programme is to determine the presence or absence of the quarantine harmful organism Alternaria small - the cause of alternar spotting of apples in the parent plantations of registered plant nurseries, on farms and backyards, as well as in production plantations of plant species that are considered as host of this pathogen. Plant species that host this pathogen are apple fruit species, species of the genus Malus (apple Malus domestica Borkh.) and wild apple (Malus sylvestris (L.) Mill.).
