Programme of special control over the presence of quarantine pest Erwinia Amylovora (Burrill) Winslow et.al. - the causative agent of bacterial blight of apple fruit trees on the territory of Republika Srpska in 2021.

This Programme, based on the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of implementation of measures, entities that implement them, sources and manner for provision and use of funds, as well as the manner of control over the implementation of measures of special supervision over the presence of Erwinia amylovora (Burrill) Winslow et al. which is the causative agent of bacterial blight of apple fruit trees on the territory of Republika Srpska in 2021. The aim of this Programme is to determine the presence or absence of the quarantine pest Erwinia amylovora (Burrill) Winslow et al. - the causative agent of bacterial blight of apple fruit trees at the points of entry of imported shipments of plant species of pathogen hosts (which are subject to phytosanitary inspection upon import), in registered plant nurseries, in production plantations of plant species of pathogenic hosts, in backyards and in trade of related fruit planting materials. Potential plant species hosting this pathogen are apple fruit species, primarily apple, pear, quince, medlar and other plant species (as listed in Annex 1).
