Special control programme for the presence of the quarantine pest Erwinia Amylovora (Burrill) Winslow et.al. - the causative agent of bacterial blight of apple fruit trees in the territory of the Republic Srpska in 2020.

This Special control programme, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of management of measures, entities implementing them, sources and manner for use of funds, as well as the manner of implementation of special presence control measures as regards the Erwinia amylovora (Burrill) Winslow et al. - causative agent of the bacterial blight of apple orchards in the Republic Srpska in 2020. The aim of this programme is to determine the presence or absence of the quarantine pest Erwinia amylovora (Burrill) Winslow et al. - bacterial agent-rhizomes of apple orchards at the points of entry shipments of plant species of pathogen hosts to the Republic Srpska, which are subject to phytosanitary inspection during imports, in registered plant nurseries, in production plantations of plant species of pathogenic hosts, in backyards and in the trade of fruit planting material. Potential plant species hosts of this pathogen are apple fruit species, primarily apple, pear, quince, medlar and other plant species listed in Annex 1 of this text.
