Abstract
This Programme, based on the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, subjects that implement them, sources and manner for provision and use of funds, area of operation, as well as the manner of control over the implementation of these special supervision measures, all relate to the presence of Xylella fastidiosa Wells et al. - the cause of Pierce 's disease on the territory of Republika Srpska in 2021. The aim of this Programme is to determine the presence or absence of the quarantine harmful organism Xylella fastidiosa - the cause of Pierce's disease in registered plant nurseries, seedling producers, on agricultural farms, in public areas, in production plantations of plant species of pathogen hosts, in backyards and in places of entry of consignments of plant species of pathogen hosts in the Republic of Srpska, which are subject to phytosanitary inspection upon import. Potential plant species hosts of this particular pathogen on the Republic of Srpska are: grapevine, citrus, olive, oleander, species of the genus Prunus - primarily peach and cherry, as well as lavender, rosemary, geraniums, vinca and other plant varieties as listed in Annex 1.
