Abstract
This Special surveillance programme, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of management of measures, entities that implement them, sources and manner of providing and using funds, area of activity and the manner of control over the implementation of special supervision measures as regards the presence of Xylella fastidiosa Wells et al. - causative agent of Pierce's disease on the territory of Republika Srpska in 2020. The aim of this programme is to determine the presence, that is, the absence of the quarantine pest Xylella fastidiosa - the causative agent of Pierce's disease in registered plant nurseries, at seedling producers, on agricultural valuable farms, in public areas, in derived plantations of plant species of pathogen hosts, on backyards and at the points of entry of consignments of plant species that are considered as hosts of pathogens and that are subject to phytosanitary inspection upon import. Potential plant species hosts this pathogen are: grapevine, citrus, olive, oleander, genus species
