Regulation on issuing permits for small business activities in waste management.

This Regulation defines the necessary conditions for waste management for small business activities, the procedure for issuing a permit for small business activities in waste management, establishes the activities of small businesses for which a permit is not required and the conditions for which a permit is not required. This text is partially aligned with the provisions contained in the Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 November 2008 on waste and repealing certain directives (current consolidated text of 18 February 2024). This Regulation specifically regulates the general and special conditions that a business entity engaged in waste management is obliged to fulfill, the technological process of waste collection, acceptance and storage, the accompanying sheet and its content, the procedure for submitting an application for a permit and the manner of issuing a permit by the competent authority, the obligation to maintain data on the generation and movement of waste in the Waste Management Information System, the content and form of the Waste Management Study, the formation of the Commission responsible for determining general and special conditions for waste management, activities of small businesses exempted from obtaining a permit, and the obligations of the performer of an activity subject to exemption from the obligation to possess a permit.
