Abstract
This Law lays down the general principles for the prevention of production of waste; waste recycling; processing and re-using of waste; extraction of secondary raw materials from the waste; and safe waste disposal. Waste means any substance or object which the holder discards or intends, or is required to discard. The provisions of this Law shall not apply to the radioactive waste, gaseous effluents emitted into the atmosphere and waste water. The text consists of 60 articles divided into 10 Parts and 4 Annexes.
