Regulation on the procedure for payment of compensation for harmlessly removed seropositive animals.

This Regulation prescribes the procedure for payment of damages in relation with the procedure of harmless removal of seropositive animals, that occurs during the implementation of prescribed measures for the control and eradication of infectious animal diseases. The owner of an animal that has been safely removed in the enforcement process measures aimed to control and eradicate infectious animal diseases and zoonoses, has the right to obtain compensation if: a) without delay reports the suspicion of animal contagious disease to the nearest veterinary organization; b) performed the prescribed preventive vaccination at specific times periods, as well as diagnostic and other animal testing; c) performed the prescribed marking of animals.
