This Regulation provides for detailed rules as regards the minimum quality conditions and other requirements to be fulfilled by what here is defined and described as tea or tea product, (including various recognized variations such as herbal tea, fruit tea and instant tea).
These requirements are related to the product specifications and labels, market and trade issues, processing and maximum quality discrepancy.
