Abstract
This Law defines the provisions aimed to govern over the protection from damage; restoration and improvement (of the land fertility, used for cultivation or cattle grazing and/or similar); of the agricultural land (land parcels present on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and officially classified as agricultural land).
This Law further determines the necessary terms and rules for a correct, monitored, sustainable and transparent use of such land, including the duties and powers of the competent national bodies, related inspection matters, and offences and related penalties.
Entry into force notes
This Law enters on 1 July 2012 (except for the provisions of the article 84 that shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette).
