Abstract
This Ordinance sets the necessary conditions and requirements for the design, construction, operation and closure of Bulgarian based waste landfills (disposal of domestic/household, construction, manufacturing and/or hazardous waste).
This Ordinance further determines the conditions and rules for the construction and operation of other facilities and installations for recovery of such waste; procedures and criteria for the authorization of such waste landfills; and various additional technical measures for controlled, safe and correct operating of such facilities/sites.
See article 2 for the list of wastes and waste sources that are not regulated by the provisions here stipulated.
The Annex is part of this text (also containing the list of limit values for certain hazardous and non-hazardous wastes).
