Regulation amending the Regulation No 119 of 21 December 2006 on the control measures for certain substances and their residues in live animals, raw materials and foodstuffs of animal origin, intended for human consumption.

This Regulation amends several provisions part of the Regulation No 119 of 21 December 2006 on the control measures for certain substances and their residues in live animals, raw materials and foodstuffs of animal origin, intended for human consumption (published by the Official Gazette of the Republic of Bulgaria 6/2007).
Changes are regarding the introduction of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency as new competent institution in charge of related necessary task; introduction of the norms and parameters contained in the Commission Regulation (EU) No 37/2010 of 22 December 2009 on pharmacologically active substances and their classification regarding maximum residue limits in foodstuffs of animal origin (also cancels the official residue sampling provisions in relation with the Council Regulation (EEC) No 2377/90 of 26 June 1990 laying down a Community procedure for the establishment of maximum residue limits of veterinary medicinal products in foodstuffs of animal origin, previously added in the article 25 of the original text); and minor modifications to the Annexes (see articles 38-41 of this amending publication).
