Regulation amending the Regulation No. 61 of 2006 on the conditions and procedure for official identification of animals for which no requirements are laid down in Regulations of the European Union.

This Regulation amends and cancels several provisions of the Regulation No 61 of 9 May 2006 on the conditions and procedures for the identification of animals, registration of holdings and access to the database for identified animals and registered establishments (originally published by the Official Gazette of the Republic of Bulgaria 47/2006, and amended by the Gazette 90/2019; this amending text also changed the title as follows: Regulation No. 61 of 2006 on the conditions and procedure for official identification of animals for which no requirements are laid down in Regulations of the European Union).
Changes here stipulated are regarding the minimum tasks of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency and its controls and on-the-spot inspections; new title of the Section II (Passport for large ruminants); reference to the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/262 of 17 February 2015 laying down rules pursuant to Council Directives 90/427/EEC and 2009/156/EC as regards the methods for the identification of equidae.
