Regulation No. 1 of 28 January 2015 on contractual relations in milk sector and on conditions and procedure for the recognition of producer organizations, their associations and inter-branch organizations in milk and milk products sector.

This Regulation provides for the terms and conditions for the establishment and organization of operations part of the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed, here as regards the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. The system works through a web based rapid alert system for food and feed called iRASFF (Internet based Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed) and an integrated computerized veterinary system called TRACES (Trade Control and Expert System) of the European Commission; the scope of this kind of data exchange includes: direct and indirect human health risks related to food; materials and articles intended to come into contact with food; cases of serious risk to animal health; any other type of risks associated with animal feed.
This Regulation further sets out the functioning of the system through contact points, interaction and exchange of information in the functioning of that system on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, and procedure for maintaining confidentiality, transparency and archiving of information in the system.
The Annex is also part of this publication (containing the organizational scheme of functions of the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed in the Republic of Bulgaria; sample sheets/forms for the register of incoming notifications in which the Republic of Bulgaria is concerned and register of outgoing notifications).
