Abstract
This Regulation provides for terms and conditions for: carrying out official controls and assessments of raw milk on farms; monthly sampling duties for the purposes of self-monitoring; laboratory control, test methods and system for the electronic processing of the results of the raw cow's milk analysis and effective quality and composition; processing and marketing of raw cow's milk and milk products produced from milk which does not meet the basic necessary requirements; traceability of raw cow's milk and identification marking of milk and dairy products intended for the European Union market or exclusively for marketing in the Republic of Bulgaria; corrective actions in case of unsatisfactory results from official controls and evaluation of related farms and/or analysis of raw cows' milk; frequency of inspections based on risk analysis of food business operators throughout the monitoring of the dairy food chain; carrying out own inspections and fulfillment of self-monitoring obligations of the stakeholders throughout the whole production chain as regards the raw milk and deriving dairy products.
This text introduces the requirements stipulated by the Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin.
