Abstract
This Regulation sets out the veterinary requirements for: the classification, collection, transport, storage, processing, and use/or disposal of animal by-products in order not to pose threat or danger to human or animal health; placing on the market, trade and export of animal by-products and products derived therefrom. This text further determines the necessary requirements and obligations for intermediate enterprises; full set if technical and sanitary requirements for incineration, co-incineration plants and processing facilities; requirements for biogas and compost plants.
List of exceptions is in article 1, paragraph 2. These requirements shall not apply to the eradication and control of particularly dangerous contagious animal diseases, regulated by other specific documents.
