Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Bulgarian Veterinary Law (or Law on veterinary medicine), sets the conditions and the procedure for disposal of animal by-products and products derived from them, which exclude risk to humans and the environment, here intended for disposal outside the sites of locations registered in the regional food safety directorates (RFSD).
The Annex is also part of this publication (containing list of requirements for the protection of the health of persons performing activities for disposal of animal by-products and products derived therefrom, and of persons transporting them; list of requirements for decontamination of means of transport by which animal by-products and derived products are transported to disposal sites and to tools and equipment used; application form).
