Regulation on the organization and activity of associations for water supply and sewerage.

This Regulation, as for the purposes of the Bulgarian Water Act, determines the rules aimed to govern the organization of work and activities of water and sanitation associations (authorized for management of water and sewerage systems and facilities on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. Related activities of such association are aimed at achieving the following goals: 1. sustainable use of the waters and their protection; 2. preservation, development and modernization of the water and sewerage systems and of relevant facilities; 3. ensuring the needs of the population of detached territories in terms of water quality and sewerage services through effective control over the activity of engaged water and sewerage operators also in relation to the necessary observance of obtained contracts.
