Abstract
The aim of this Resolution is the protection of environment. The present Resolution is composed of 7 Chapters, 2 Annexes and 5 Tables. Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Chapter 2 specifies the objectives and scope of environmental standards. Chapter 3 defines requirements and conditions for air and water standards. Chapter 4 deals with air quality standards. Chapters 5 and 6 lay down standards for air and water pollution sources. Chapter 7 contains general provisions. Annex I contains air quality indicators. Annex II contains indicators for industrial sewage water quality. Table I contains air quality standards. Table II contains methods for measuring concentrations of air quality. Table III contains the maximum limits of gas and vapours that may be emitted by coal burning. Table IV contains standards of substances emitted in the air by industries. Table 5 contains industrial sewage water standards.
