Abstract
This Decree, consisting of 6 articles, creates and extends the limits of the National Park of Goytacazes within the Municipality of Linhares, in the State of Espírito Santo. It establishes new geographical coordinates of the above mentioned protected area (of a total of 1.350 ha.) in order to protect and preserve local wildlife, ecosystem and habitat. New geographical limits are specified in the text. Control and management shall be under the competence of the Biodiversity Conservation Institution Chico Mendes. Scientific research for rehabilitation of degraded areas and sustainable exploitation of the Atlantic Forest may be carried out by Capixaba de Pesquisa, Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural - INCAPER only if authorized by the above mentioned Chico Mendes Institution.
