Decree No. 13.977 establishing the Rural Environmental Cadastre of Mato Grosso do Sul.

This Decree, consisting of 9 Chapters, establishes the Rural Environmental Cadastre of Mato Grosso do Sul (CAR-MS) and provides for the Programme on Environmental Regularization, called "MS Mais" Sustainable Programme in accordance with the Federal Law No. 12.651 of 25 May 2012; with the Federal Decree No. 7.830 of 17 October 2012, and the Federal Decree No. 8.235 of 5 May 2014. The CAR-MS is a mandatory administrative instrument of registration for all rural properties located in Mato Grosso do Sul. It is intended for the control of their environmental obligations, which include, in particular, the maintenance of Permanent Preservation Areas (PPAs), the Legal Areas Reserve (RL) and the Restricted Use Areas.
