Decree No. 7.830 regulating the Rural Environment Cadastre System (SICAR).

This Decree, consisting of 4 Chapters, regulates the Rural Environment Cadastre System (SICAR) and the Rural Environmental Cadastre Registration (CAR). It establishes general norms for Environmental Regularization Programmes (PRA), prescribed by Law No. 12.651 and defines the relevance of SICAR, created as a National electronic system for information management of rural infrastructures; the relevance of CAR, created as National electronic register by the environmental competent authority within the framework of the National System of Environmental Information (SINIMA). It specifies also mandatory documentation for all rural buildings and infrastructures, in order to carry out environmental control, planning and fighting the deforestation. This Decree is divided as follows: General Provisions (Chap. I); Rural Environmental Cadastre System (SICAR) (Chap. II); Environmental Regulation Programmes (PRA) (Chap. III); Final Provisions (Chap. IV).
