Abstract
This Decree, consisting of 9 Chapters, divided into 142 articles, regulates forestry management, the conservation of native forest, the State Register of Forestry Rural Properties (CEFIR) and the Programme of Rural Environmental Regularization properties within the State of Bahia. It establishes the rules governing the conservation of native vegetation, the exploitation of natural and planted forests, the removal of native vegetation for alternative land use, the prohibition of use of fire in forests, intervention in Permanent Preservation Areas, discipline on the State Register of Forestry Rural Properties - CEFIR and the Programme of Rural Environmental Regularization properties of Bahia.
