Abstract
This Decree, consisting of 17 articles and one Annex, establishes liability and compensation regime under the environmental licensing jurisdiction of the State of São Paulo. It establishes that environmental requirements for any activity deployment, work or undertaking that might cause significant environmental impact, considered on the basis of the Environmental Impact Study and its Report - EIA/ RIMA, involve, as mandatory condition, an environmental compensation, as referred to in article 36 of Federal Law No. 9.985.
