Abstract
This Decree, consisting of 5 Chapters, provides for administrative and legal proceedings for imposing offences and penalties under the State System of Environmental Quality Management, Protection, Control and Development of Environment and Adequate Use of Natural Resources (SEAQUA) and other protecting measures. It establishes that environmental and related infringements penalties, for the purposes mentioned in this Decree are those provided for in Federal Law No. 9.605 of 12 February 1998, the Federal Decree No. 6514 of 22 July 2008 and as applicable in Law No. 9.866 of 28 November 1997.
