Abstract
This Decree is composed of 10 Chapters, divided in 118 articles. It further regulates Law No. 10.831 on organic farming. In particular, it regulates production, marketing, information and labelling. Moreover, it defines control mechanisms, parties’ responsibilities and national organic conformity assessment procedures. Finally, the Decree provides control measures, sanctions and penalties.
