Abstract
This Decree amends Decree No. 7.775 regulating the Programme for Food Acquisition (PAA). Amended articles deal with the following matters: definition of beneficiaries as individuals in a situation of food and nutritional insecurity and those served by social assistance network, by food service equipment, by other food and nutrition supply agency, funded by the Government; Art. 8 establishes that shall be permitted to purchase and donate seeds, seedlings and propagating materials for animal feed to consumers and suppliers. Art. 11 states that with funds of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and the Ministry of Social Development and Fight Against Hunger, products intended for animal feed may be purchased at a discount to municipalities in state of emergency, recognized under Law No. 12.340 of 1 December 2010.
