Abstract
This Ministerial Decree validates Veterinary and Sanitary Regulation on captive breeding of fur-bearing animals and Veterinary and Sanitary Regulation on breeding of horses. Veterinary and Sanitary Regulation on captive breeding of fur-bearing animals establishes mandatory requirements for compliance by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs related to the safety of works and services concerning keeping, raising, breeding, transportation, trade, slaughtering of fur-bearing animals, disposal, burial, destruction of corpses of fur-bearing animals, products of animal origin, production, procurement, storage, processing, transportation and trade (except for trade in stationary trading facilities, retail premises (stores) and facilities and public catering facilities) products of animal origin. Fur-bearing animals shall be kept in cages with recommended dimensions, defined in the Annex. Cells for fur-bearing animals shall be insulated during the cold season. Walkouts of the cells must be equipped with feed tables. Bottom of the nest box (house) of the cell for fur-bearing animals shall be made in two ways: net and net or net and wooden. When catching fur-bearing animals, one should treat them calmly, without scaring them, avoiding to hurt them and avoiding actions that cause them great stress, and traumatizing effects. In the process of catching must not be used forceps. When selecting fur-bearing animals for breeding purposes, must be selected calm species of non-aggressive fur animals. Feeds for fur-bearing animals should originate from organizations that are free from infectious animal diseases to which are vulnerable fur-bearing animals. Veterinary and Sanitary Regulation on breeding of horses establishes mandatory requirements for compliance by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs related to the safety of works and services concerning keeping, raising, breeding, transportation and trade of horses. Horses are kept in diaries or in the pasture. Horses must be kept in the pastures, protecting them against adverse weather conditions and predators. Horses kept in the pasture-land must be protected against rainy weather or the heat by cover-ups. The cover must be dry, clean and large enough permitting the horses to lie down, get up and turn around. Horses must not be kept indoors for long periods of time. Horses must be provided with the opportunity for physical activity. Horses must have access to feed and water. Horses will be grazed on grazing fields and pastures. The area of the pasture must cleared of foreign objects. It shall be forbidden for horses to stay in draughts, to watering with cold water with the ice.
