Resolution No. 14 of the Ministry of Forestry amending Resolution No. 80 of the Ministry of Forestry validating the Regulation on some issues of afforestation and reforestation.

The method of natural reforestation without measures of assistance is intended for the forest fund areas: (a) with the presence of viable forest plants of trees of the main species more than 4 thousand pieces per hectare aged two or more years and not less than 0.1 m in height; and (b) characterized by unfavorable environmental conditions, including excessive moisture, evidenced microrelief, where it is impractical to use other methods of reforestation. Reforestation in forest fund areas previously used for national security purposes, where it is required, shall be carried out within three years from the date of establishing the fact of the need to carry it out, recorded as a result of a planned inspection of forest fund areas carried out by officials who are entrusted with the functions of state forest protection.
