Abstract
The present Regulation is made under the Waste Diversion Transition Act, 2016. In particular, the Blue Box Program Plan was developed by Stewardship Ontario in conjunction with Waste Diversion Ontario (WDO), the agency created to oversee and implement the Blue Box Program and the Province’s other waste diversion programs, including the Municipal Hazardous or Special Waste (MHSW) Program. In particular, section 1 of the Regulations lists waste being prescribed as blue box waste for the pupose of the afore-mentioned Act. The text consists of 2 sections.
