Environmental Assessment Act ([SBC 2002] Chapter 43).

The present Act lays down provisions relating to environmental assessment impact in the Province of British Columbia. Section 2 establishes that the Environmental Assessment Office is continued as an office of the government. The purpose of the Environmental Assessment Office is to carry out the responsibilities given to it under this Act.
