Abstract
The present Ordinance enforces and completes the Federal Agriculture Act of 29 April 1998. The purpose of the present Ordinance is to promote and improve the agriculture, including alpine economy, as well as to create a favourable framework for its sustainable development. The text consists of 37 articles divided into 10 chapters as follows: Subject and purpose (1); Organization and competence (2); Production, quality and marketing (3); Investment (measures on structural improvements) (4); Subsidies for enterprises (5); Financial provisions (5a); Vocational training (6); Land, lease and labour (7); Financial provisions (8); Fees, administration of justice (9); Final provisions (10).
Entry into force notes
