Abstract
The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the implementation of federal legislation concerning foodstuff of animal origin, slaughtering, inspection of animals to be slaughtered and inspection of meat, meat processing and meat transport and storage. The text consists of 22 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: Sphere of application (I); Organization (II); Authorization and approval of slaughterhouses (III); Choice of supervising bodies (IV); Fees (VI); Legal protection (VII); Final provisions (VIII).
