Abstract
The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2010. The Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the Canton Appenzell-Ausserrhoden. Furthermore, the Law creates conditions for a cantonal spatial data infrastructure. The text consists of 35 articles divided into 9 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Principles (2); Spatial Information Infrastructure (3); Digital undergound cadastre (4); Cadastre of public ownership restrictions (5); Official survey (6); Geographical names and addresses of building (7); Financing (8); Final and transitional provisions (9).
