Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Law of 15 May 1862 on fishing industry in the Canton of Aargau. Fishing rights not belonging to the State shall be registered in the fishing cadastre subject to the approval of the cantonal Council. In case of lease, the owner of a private fishery shall notify the competent authority. Every fisherman is due to carry with him all the time his fishing permit, and also to keep a record of his catch. The text consists of 54 articles divided into 9 Parts as follows: General provisions (A); Fishing rights (B); River banks (C); Fishing gear and fishing methods (D); Catching of crayfish, bait; extraction of plankton (E); Protection and care (F); Protection of living spaces (G); Organization and control (H); Penalties and final provisions (I).
