Abstract
This Ordinance regulate the responsibilities and procedures for monitoring and controlling particularly dangerous pests, regionally significant diseases, harmful organisms, and problematic plants in the canton of Obwalden. The Office for Agriculture and Environment is responsible for plant protection services and area monitoring. The Department of Economic Affairs may order necessary control measures and delegate tasks to third parties. Additionally, financial contributions may be granted for monitoring and control measures.
