Abstract
The present Ordinance enforces the Federal Ordinance on wine growing and importation of wine of 7 December 1998. Article 1 establishes that the Office for Economic and Social Affairs is responsible for the enforcement of the aforementioned Federal Ordinance except to the extent that matters are transferred to the Specialized Wine Office or Food Safety and Animal Health Office. The text consists of 36 articles divided into 9 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Vine plantings (II); Vintage control (III); Controlled designation of origin (IV); Quantity limit (V); Control of books and premises (VI); Special vine plants (VII); Administration of justice (VIII); Final provisions (IX).
