Abstract
The present law is a cantonal implementing law that specifies how the Swiss Federal Act on Rural Land Rights (BGBB) is applied and enforced within the canton. It designates the competent authorities responsible for matters such as the acquisition and transfer of agricultural land and farms, exceptions to the prohibition on parcel fragmentation and division of agricultural holdings, valuation of agricultural properties, supervision, and appeals procedures. It also regulates administrative functions, including the maintenance of statistics on agricultural land transactions and the registration of decisions affecting agricultural property rights.
