Abstract
The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2010. The Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the canton Glarus. Furthermore, the Law creates conditions for a cantonal spatial data infrastructure. The text consists of 30 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Principles (II); Cadastre of public ownership restrictions (III); Official survey (IV); Organization (V); Financing (VI); Proceedings, legal protection (VII); Penalties and final provisions (VIII).
Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 1 September 2012.
