Introductory Ordinance to the Food Act (EV LMG)(817.010).

This Ordinance establishes the cantonal implementation of the Federal Act on Foodstuffs and Utility Articles (LMG) in Appenzell Innerrhoden, with a strong emphasis on food safety controls, inspection structures and hygiene‑related enforcement. It designates the Executive Body (Standeskommission) as supervisory authority and assigns direct oversight to the Health and Social Department (for the cantonal chemist) and the Land and Forestry Department (for the cantonal veterinarian).
