Abstract
The purpose of the present Law is to establish the legal basis for land use planning in the Canton Zug. In particular, the Law enforces the Federal Land Use Planning Act of 22 June 1979 and related Ordinances and lays down the framework for municipal building regulations. The text consists of 77 articles divided into 10 Parts as follows: Purpose and competent authorities (1); Cantonal plans and building regulations (2); Municipal plans and building regulations (3); Cantonal and municipal special-use plans (4); Safeguard of planning (5); Provisions on proceedings (6); Land consolidation and boundary adjustment (7); Expropriation (8); Legal protection, enforcement and penalties (9); Transitional and final provisions (10).
Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 1 January 2000.
Notes
The present Law is updated as of 1 September 2013.The present Law repeals the Law on the same subject of 18 May 1967.
