Law on the conservation and promotion of agriculture (Agriculture Law).

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the conservation and promotion of agriculture. Its aim is to improve the production basis and framework for an efficient and environment friendly agriculture. At the foreground stands the promotion of the production of healthy foodstuff in small farms; the promotion of a sustainable development resorting to adequate ecological cultivation and animal keeping methods; the protection of soil and waters; the promotion of a great number of species and of the ecological aspect of the landscape. The text consists of 47 articles divided into 5 Parts: as follows: General provisions (I); Promotion measures (II); Soil improvement (III); Legal protection (IV); Final and transitional provisions (V).
